Registration Requirements and Renewal
A Registrable Property is any real property that:
Is encumbered by a mortgage in default;
Is the subject of a foreclosure action;
Has a foreclosure judgment but has not yet been sold; or
Has been transferred to a mortgagee or affiliated entity via foreclosure sale or deed in lieu.
Registration
Registration is required within 10 days of declaring mortgage in default.
Each parcel requires a separate registration.
Registration information must be updated within 10 days of any change.
Renewal is required annually on January 1
OMT Change
OMT changes require a new registration by the new mortgagee or trustee. Nay preeviously unpaid registration fees are the responsibility of the new mortgagee or trustee and are due with their initial registration.
Property Manager
A property manager must be designated.
A 24-hour contact telephone number is required.

Posting Signage
Vacant properties must post signage visible from the street.

In this jurisdiction, any owner of Vacant residential, commercial, industrial or historic property is required to register the property. "Vacancy/vacant" means any building, structure or real property that is unoccupied or occupied by a person without a legal right of occupancy; "Vacant building" means a building where at least thirty-five (35%) percent of the total floor area within the building is not occupied; "Vacant shopping center/industrial complex" means a shopping center or industrial complex on a single property containing one or more buildings where fifty (50%) percent of the gross leasable area is not occupied.
Vacant lots are not required to be registered.
