Registration Requirements
Registrable Property - Post-Filing/REO
A Registrable Property is any real property that:
Is the subject of a foreclosure action;
Has a foreclosure judgment but has not yet been sold; or
Has been transferred to a mortgagee or affiliated entity via foreclosure sale or deed in lieu.
Registration
Registration is required within 10 days of initiation of the foreclosure action.
Each parcel requires a separate registration.
Registration information must be updated within 10 days of any change.
Renewal
Registrations must be renewed every six (6) months, measured from the initial foreclosure filing date.
OMT Update
OMT changes do not require a new registration but must be updated within 10 days.
Property Manager
If the property is vacant, a property manager must be designated.
A 24-hour contact telephone number is required.
Posting Signage
Vacant properties must post signage visible from the street.

Sign must include:
Property manager name;
24-hour telephone number; and
Email address.
Exterior signage must be weather‑resistant.

Registration Requirements
In this jurisdiction, any owner of Vacant Property is required to register the property. Vacant Property is considered any parcel of land that contains any building or structure that is not lawfully occupied and is vacant for more than 30 days or any cancellation of utility or service, whichever occurs first.
Vacant Lots are not required to be registered.

Long-Term Rental
Registration Requirements
In this jurisdiction, Owners of rental property are required to register the rental property on an annual basis, based on the anniversary date of the initial registration. Rental property is any improved structure or portion of a structure within the village which is occupied by someone other than the owner or landlord of the real property for residential or commercial purposes, including but not limited to the following: any living quarters or accommodations in any hotel, apartment hotel, motel, resort motel, apartment, apartment motel, rooming house, mobile home, mobile home park, mobile home space, recreational vehicle park, town home, or condominium and for which the owner and/or landlord receives any value or consideration, including but not limited to money, or the exchange of goods or services, regardless of the relationship between lessor and lessee.
Long-term rental property means rental property which the owner and/or Landlord rents or leases fora term of 181 days or longer.
Short-term rental property means rental property which the owner and/or landlord rents or leases fora term not exceeding 180 days.
If the property is transferred to a new Owner, the new Owner must register the property as a rental property or update an existing registration if it is to remain a rental property.
If the Owner does not reside within 50 miles of the rental property, a local property manager must be designated.
